To answer your question they can't drive at all in va in snow and to top that off they basically clean out all the bread water and milk so it's not a game when it snows down here.

It is not a game when it snows here either. Not only can't you find milk, bread or water.... you can't find sand, kity litter, shovels, or ice scrapers.

I couldn't agree with you more! I'm from connecticut and I was down here in va for the y2k and everyone was like ho hum but when the snow storm came, walmart was empty! and we got those super walmarts! and the roads, oh god, you might as well hand deliever me an anger management counselor, cause people just piss me all the way off!  |

I love snow, but only watching it on TV. The problem I have with snow comes from the way people react to snow here in the DC/MD/VA metro area. From the 1st word we may get snow; you would think we were living in South Beach, Fla. the way people react. There is a mad rush to the grocery store (milk and bread always go first), the roads don’t start getting cleared after it's about 4 inches of snow on the ground (the road crews act like it never snows here) and people drive (especially those with 4x4's) like they are crazy. I say all of this because I grow up in NY, were it snowed every winter. So now I enjoy watching it snow… but on TV.
