If only in dreams
I will greet you with a kiss
between sheets spread
the distance between our souls
nothing more further
than an isolated reality
whose restraints shall never contain
the separate halves of a whole

to meet such sweet lips as mine

and to greet
a lasting love that exists
beyond the eld

denied pathways now revisited
no longer divided by honorable laws
