My response to my friend's poem.....

If Only Within A Dream: The Next Night


.....if only ever within a dream

I will be the night to your
day
I will be the sun to your
moon
On that windy, starry night...
I will be the one holding you.

If only in dreams
I will go where you want me to go
I will long for you
I want to kiss you
yet not kiss you
because in you you are worth
the anticipation
Two bloodlines become one
as does two hearts become
one as does two souls
become one

In my dreams
my hands gently massage away
your stress
my fingertips accentuate
what you know you are craving
from me
my eyes gaze fixated
on you
my heart races because we are now...
we

in my dreams
the separate roads taken
to finally walk
down life's pathway
have now become
one
In my dreams
at this moment
as your lips touch mine
so begins my life

Now what a feeling
to look amongst the stars
wind embracing us in its power
and know that I am
yours

My God, I think I need to have a dream like this. Where my love and I intertwine in winds. This and the last poem were both real cool. Bring more to the page because now I need to read more.
