It just seems that even though you are far apart, you end up being that much closer because of that same fact. You end up knowing more about each other because you have no choice but to talk the majority of the time. If you are close to someone from the door, everything (especially in the beginning) is rushed. Then, the time you do spend together (when possible) is so very special, and you know not to waste that special time that you have together. In the end, if it gets a little more serious, then you talk about taking the next step. All around, it's just a better idea. Both people have to be able to withstand this though. It will always be hard in the beginning, but look what you might get in the end. Isn't it worth it? Whew, girl. You are bringing it out of me. Stop that! LOL

What's your take on this Simply? Well as you said... I believe it can work. Some of my reasons are... 1. You are not together all the time so each time you do spend together is not spent arguing over petty stuff. 2. You really get a chance to get to know each other in and out because you spend a lot of time communicating because you can't visit often. 3. You have excellent communication with each other because that is all that you do. 4. the sex is always the bomb because you ain't getting ti all the time.
