I had no idea that my favaourite Singer from Jamacia was in London, and round the corner from my home.So I spent my fortnightly shopping money(£30) on a ticket and found my self still smiling this morning.
Ooops the Singer in question was Sanchez. His supporting acts were Don Ricardo/Luic D/ George Hooks/Viven Jones. Also this being Jamacias 43rd Anviersary of Independance the venue was filled with people wearing white, waving flags, streamers and sounding horns all night, well worth my food bill.

The summer musiq festival is coming to an end this month, and I'm getting ready to pack my camping gear and head up North to Leeds, for the Carling Festival.
On the stage will be Queens of the Stone Age, The Killers, Bloc Party, Foo Fighters, Kasabian, Garbage and a host of others. This takes place during 26-28th August, bank hoilday weekend, so yes I'm missing London Carnival but who cares.

Saw musiq last night, what a waste. Now I know why the venue was so small, and no band was present. He had the cheek to be 2 hours late and only perform (if you can say that) for 30 mins . You can bet I never buy another song from his collection. This is the 3rd concert he has done a disservice to, and yes the London crowd is not easy to entertain, but he is so lucky he never got beaten up with the shyt performance last night. Funny enough the UK talent was awesome. Kojo (best UK Male comediene 2005 award winner) was the host still laughing my stomach muscles off, form his antics.Nate James (eyebrow's more threaded then mine), had people dancing the night away(longer set then musiq). I can see people at HMV this morning searching for his album (me included). There was a fashion show by Patric Kevin (urban wear at it's British best), and a young all boyz triplet act (forgot the name). All in all we UK people NEED to support our own, the talent coming from over the waters seem to lose all form of respect, and manners when they reach the land.

Man What a dissappointment, I just knew Musiq was gonna be tight, guess not. I did see him at a celebrity tennis match I attended a few years ago in L.A. and he wasn't that good then, but I just figured it was one bad show of many good ones. Afterwards I went up to him to tell him he did a good job and he was kinda rude. Said thanks, patted me on the shoulder and kept it movin'. I just figured that he was in a hurry to get somewhere. I guess he just sucks when it comes to anything live. I'll still cop his cds if he's got a couple good songs though.

The Scots were awesome, praize due to Franz Ferdinad totally rocked out ali pally ( aka Alexandra Palace to those state side). So my last concert for the year was great my feet ached all weekend ( seriously ). Best concert this year.....Leeds festival. Ok more than a cobcert but who cares. More than 50 bands got to meet Kasabian, Juilette Lewis, Bloc party and those classic possers called The Killers. Amazing weekend of pure fun. Worst concert this year.......Musiq......Needs to change his name to not live thou, only cd. Most missed concert.......Kindred & Fugess. Kindred cancelled no prob wait till next year with Eric Roberson.....Now Fugess £36.00 plus booking fee at the venue having a laugh and Lauren is always over an hour late sorry wait for the downloads.

Dead Prez........total waste nearly got kicked out of the venue after my antics. They performed over 3hrs late (the venue was nearly empty) so disappointed.
No concerts till June for me waiting for Eric Robertson.

Ain't nobody coming here. E40, Rhianna, Bow Wow and some others were just here but I wasn't interested. This is why I have to move back to NY. Hopefully it will happen later this year.
