I went to the Essece Festival in 2002 and it was off the hook.
The only thing I did not enjoy was the weather. I woke yp in the morning to 95 degree weather. I took appoximately 4 showers a day and walked down the street with a hand towel on my shoulder for the sweat!!!

HBCU - ALUMNI CRUISE
MIAMI - BAHAMAS
May 28 - May 31, 2004
Are you ready to have the time of your life? We hope so, because we intend for this to be the most fun you've had since college!
And maybe even more fun than THOSE good ol' days.
For 4 days and 3 nights, we'll all hang out on Royal Caribbean's incredible "Majesty of the Seas", a ship that is second-to-none.
We're talking spa, onboard cinema, nine lounges, two outdoor pools, two outdoor whirlpools and entertainment galore.
We'll be lounging by the pool, partying on the deck, and enjoying the all-you-can-eat 24-hour-a-day buffet on board the "Majesty of the Seas."
But the ship is only half the fun. The HBCU Alumni crew will grace the shores of the beautiful Bahamas with our presence! From CocoCay to Nassau, the turquoise-blue waters of the Bahamas will be our "natural habitat" for the weekend.
Bring your sunblock lotion and your Ray-Bans, because the weather in the Bahamas is ALWAYS "just right".
Don't hear about it - experience it for yourself! This promises to be a unique and beautiful experience. We're looking forward to hanging with you and your college buddies in the Bahamas.
