I think teachers really should get paid more, not Athlete money b/c I don't think anyone should make that much money. Teachers should at least start out at $80,000 a year and get raises based on actual merit. They should really make politician money in all fairness.
Athletes do need a large salary due to invasions of their privacy. If they got paid regular money an angry or psycho fan could walk right up to their house and do them and their families harm. So yes they should make less, enough to live in gated communities but not enough to have 10 or 12 G-Wagons parked out front!

I believe teachers should get paid more also. They are assisting in the upbringing of our future leaders of the world. Most of them, for the most part, do a dayum good job and enjoy what they do... at least the ones that my children have had.
In my opinion, I believe atheletes to be OVERPAID!!!!
