I chose a black woman because we know the day-to-day struggles that we sometimes have to face in life. IMO, this would be helpful in providin' assistance to the homeless, the poor, single mothers who are strugglin' to provide for their families, and the such. So yeah...I chose a black woman! ;D

You know there is a black woman that is running for president and she needs funds desperately for her campaign. I believe that she is in debt some $115k and only hads $23k on hand. I'm going to try and find some info on it.

Here is some info on the black woman that is running for president:
Thursday, Oct. 16 SHRINKING FINANCES The campaign finance numbers are in for the third quarter. Some $125,000 was raised and there is $29,000 in cash on hand. About $118,000 was spent. Quick overview: first quarter, $78,000; second quarter, $150,000; third, $125,000. TALK ABOUT STRETCHING A DIME Campaign consultant Kevin Lampe says the team continues to operate efficiently and has the money to do what they need to do. Will the campaign change its strategy to raise more money? He says no. Is he disspointed with the amount. Never, he says. Would he like more money. Yes. MORE ON THE MONEY Lampe has said the Braun Camp will never have “Dean dollars.” The focus is not on money, but on getting votes. Thus, the active pace of voter registration at colleges and universities. And why you are not likely to see TV ads until January. IOWA POLL A newly released poll shows Braun pulling 0 percent in Iowa. She spent Wednesday in Iowa wowing the AARP crowd and later students and professors at Iowa State University. Staffers are hopeful it will translate into votes. Monday, Oct. 13 OUT IN THE OPEN In a couple of days, Braun staffers promise to release what they call “the nasties,” a list of all the negative publicity, issues and probes that essentially killed Carol Moseley Braun’s run for Senate in 1998. It includes source documentation regarding these issues. Staffers say by putting it all out there, journalists and the public won’t have to go digging around and Braun won’t be the victim of misinformation. I’ll give you an example. There was a probe into Braun’s campaign finances, but the Braun documentation shows that in the end the Federal Elections Committe determined that all but $311.28 was properly used by the campaign and she was not fined. The staff had hoped to have the Web site ready by Sunday; now they tell me it’s going to take a couple of days. I’ll keep you posted. Friday, Oct. 10 THRILLED WITH DEBATE The Braun campaign is thrilled with their candidate’s performance. Consultant Kevin Lampe says things went great, she delivered, talked about the issues, showed the differences between herself and the other candidates and did not engage in attacks. Lampe also says that momentum is building as the campaign is recieving more invitations to events and e-mails. Braun was getting much more attention from the media then I have seen so far. Thursday, Oct. 9 READY TO DEBATE Just like the CNBC debate, staffers are once again sounding cool and confident about tonight’s CNN debate. The debates so far have been helping Braun put some points on the board as far as getting national attention. I have even seen the nice notes she gets from people following debates. But is it enough to win a presidential election? Tuesday, Oct. 7 GRAHAM REACTION Here’s the official statement from the Braun Campaign regarding the Graham bail out: “Senator Bob Graham is a personal friend and worthy campaign opponent. He added a knowledgable and passionate voice to those of us running for the Democratic presidential nomination. His leaving the race only strengthens my resolve to run for the presidency. I will continue to deliver my message of peace, prosperity and progress to the American People.” As mentioned in past writings, her staff cannot understand why anyone would drop out so early. Friday, Oct. 3 NEW FINANCE CHAIR The campaign now has a national finance chair: Emma Chappell, who was the national treasurer for Jesse Jackson’s presidential campaigns in 1984 and 1988. Chappell is president and Ceo of Altroy International, a consulting firm. This is the first time the camp will have a permanent “national” fundraiser with experience.

I'll have to go with other b/c I wouldn't vote for someone just because she is a black woman. I don't want someone like Condoleza Rice running my country and pretending they represent women like me! Some people wouldn't be any better than what we have now. I hear these new "Black" republicans and conservatives always debating and referring to the rest of our race as those people, or you people. All I want is a President who will really uphold the constitution, try to keep our country out of war, and get our economy back on track! I don't give a d**n if it's a purple hermaphrodite...

I sure wouldn't want a Black man or a Black Woman to be President of a country that would not back them. Congress wouldn't back them. FBI wouldn't back them. CIA wouldn't back them
Unless I could vote in the Senate/Governors and Congress it wouldn't work.
This is assuming that these canidates will call for equation. Equation would have no need for a Governed party so I'm back to square one..
confused..... :o :'(

I agree 100% but have you noticed congress and everyone else only like to back puppets, regardless of race or sex. They don't care as long as they have a President that can be controlled and that is just tired!

Yeah I feel you on that one, why else would he be bold enough to stare up in our face and ask for $50 bil for Iraq when we still aint even talk about reperations, let alone the thousands that are homeless, on the state, unemployed still from 911. He don't even want to know what I got to say about that.
I think right now that it don't matter who we put into office, we can't get Clinton back and everyone can be pressured into doing everything that they say they wont do. It's just a deep situation.
