Gallup has consistently given Bush some of his best numbers. So for him to break the 40 percent floor in that poll is not a great sign. In fact, it's a terrible sign.</p> Gallup. 10/13-16. MoE 3% (9/26-28 results)
Do you approve or disapprove of the way George W. Bush is handling his job as president?
Gallup monday Oct.17th Approve 39 (45) Disapprove 58 (50)

I have always wondered about that... I think it's time for me to put my detectives experience to some use and do some investigating ... get right back to you on this.

Why he made it into the White House is still unbelivable, why the streets are still not chocablock of angry protestors is shockable. How he got into office for another term reminds me of the Conservatives in the 80's in the UK.
Justin to answer your question they single out people like yoursels and market those at home who have no job but stil recevie an income privatly (ie pensions/stocks/rich upper class) those people are usually over the age of 60-75 and have firm ideas...sorry set racist ideas on whom should governer over them. Marketing is a serious skill. Polls are never done with your consent, but you take them in all areas of your life.

I found this via the Gallup site poll.gallup.com/help/faq.aspx?ID=249I have to say my jaded opinion is that they poll the rich , educated and white public, but I was happy to see we can add our voice by signing up to be polled. "If you don't like the system do something to change it", so I signed up ! And Jam I sooo agree w/ you...how and why he is in office boggles my mind. And why there is not more outrage on the part of Americans is truly scary, we are just sitting still whilst the consertive rich walk away with our rights, our voice ,our country.Thatcher-ism revisited ! I lived in the U.K. during her reign..I am having flashbacks... ACK ,I am truly thinking of moving out of the country.
