Maaaaan... have you heard the news recently (Richmond, VA)? First you had a parent allow her child to go feed the bears at Maymont park...not only that, but the mother gave the kid an apple to feed the bears and even helped the kid over the first fence to get to the fence where the bears were at... the kid got a scratch on the arm in the process... the parent and her child go home... THE NEXT AFTERNOON they decided to go the ER just to make sure it wasn't infected... ER reported the incident to Maymont park.. Maymont park reported it to the Wildlife people and they decided the bears must get tested for rabies... One problem though... the way to test a bear for rabies is to check it in their brains, which can't be done while the bears are alive. So, they killed the bears, which have been their for about 20years, and come to find out they were negative for rabies... all because a mother despite all the signs that say DO NOT FEED BEARS and etc. allowed her kid to go feed the bears.... but of course, her story changed after she got up with her lawyer. THEN, you have parents who allowed their 13yr old son and his 13yr old friend take out a canoe in 40 degree weather to canoe along the Swift Creek area.. provided that they call the parents every hour.... now, c'mon now... two 13yr olds.. a canoe, and 40degree weather.. and yet because you gave them a cellphone to call you with, you think it'll be ok? ?? Hell no. well, the boys are still missing going on 4 days later. Where is the common sense amongst these parents?

There is none and you know what I think they should be punished! Seriously what the hell were they thinking about? I know if I was the other boy's parents I'd be in jail from killing the boys parents thta allowed such a thing to occur! How foolish!
