This book is by Ruthie Bolton. It's a true story.... I read this when if first came out. Its about how she amazingly overcame the childhood abused she suffered at the hands of her grandfather.... I am NOT one who easily cries....but I shed TEARS when I read this  |

I'm going to have to order this one, I love real life stories. I love real stories I can relate to, I guess that's why I love underground stories.

I read this book when it first came out. It was unforgettable. You think you've lived a life of horror until you see what other people have survived. This book made its rounds from my mother, to my best friend and the women my mother worked with. It was hard to read how much she endured. She just got accustomed to not expecting anything more. I admire her courage and her strength. If you can find it, this is a must read!
