ok i was wondering if yall reading foreign literature/books/or books of foreign writers
why i ask this?
in highschool we had to read foreign books(thats englisch german or french literature...books in that language so not translated at all) so i was wondering how that is in the states or the uk

I don't... but my children do.
They are in a total "French Immersion" Program in school and thye need it.
I also try to rent the Disney Movies in French sometimes.

Ok sure but do you want a english written book by a foreign author or a foreign written book by a foreign writer ( by foreign I mean overseas)?

i read some spanish books.
also, might i recommend "Things Fall Apart" by Chinuea Achebe (sp.??)
