Let's read something, anything ya'll!! I'm open for ANYTHING right about now. I can't find a good book so I'm voting to say the next book mentioned is the first book to start reading.

I just finished reading every thug needs a lady by Wahida Clarke it was good, and now I'm reading Wendy's Got The Heat and it is good also. I'm going to try and get Yellow Dog so I can read it while reading Wendy Williams book.

One of the best books I've ever read is this one: The Invisible Soldier: The Experience of the Black Soldier, , World War II, compiled and edited by Mary Penick Motley. Detroit, Wayne State University Press, 1975. 364 p. I check it out 3 times. Oral history of ALL aspects of Black Soldiers in WW2. This book is so good. Me being white, I could see through the eyes of everyday black Americans, in boot camp, fighting the Nazis, fighting Jim Crow laws,Sherman tank in action, and so on. And from my view, I learned how hard it was to grow up in the south. Whew! John www.worldcatlibraries.org/wcpa/ow/53760e1977e4242b.html
