OK, I'll admit it, I READ them. And every now & them, I find a good story.
This is a reprint of "Captain Johner & the Aliens", originally printed in Magnus-Robot Fighter, August 1963.
I thought it was very RARE to have a black Astronaut in a 1963 comic book.
The first African-American in space was Guy Bluford, 1983, almost 20 years after this was printed.
For the ladies, it was Mae Jemison the first black woman in space, August 1992.
