Do you find yourself re-reading ? I found this quote today ; "Maya Angelou is a very prolific writer. You can read her stuff down once and sort of walk away, but if you really want to get the richness of what she is saying you have to check it out a couple of times." ~ Stanley Clarke {musician} and I think it's true of her work and others ...

I've re-read and brought as serious gifts Sister Souljah's " No Disrepect". This is my classic book of all time and flows over seperate generations.

Sista Souljah is deep, real and honest. What has she been up to lately? I've only read "The Coldest Winter Ever."

I agree Jam , I find myself constantly re-visiting many of my books on religion and spirituality. As I evolve as a person I seem to find new passages that speak to me in a way that I can feel it. And I find great comfort within the pages and lessons too.

Wow , I'm not so good w/ reading my own stuff. My school stuff or Blog post are one thing but my poetry is hard for me to do. I imagine you get insight and do & don't ideas for future projects , that's so neat !

Auset I did an insane thing, I lent your book out to one of my brothers and he refuses to give it back . I'll have to steal my own book back to get a reread. Right now I'm hooked on crime fiction, I'm currently reading "The Know" by Martina Cole.
