so i just put it here

the question WHAT TO DO WITH YOUR PARENTS is something i have been thinkin of lately

lets see where to start

ok suposed you are not living in ya parents home anymore and ya are having a relation (or not)

ya parents (or one of them) live alone
then something happen

they get older or sick or whateva...........and forget things
what do ya do
ya put ya parents in OLD PEOPLES HOME or something??
or ya take them home in your house ??

so what to do.........

my parents and granparents generation they have taken their parents in their home/family to care for them ....to put ya own parents in a sorta oldpeoplehome is NOT done THEY SAY TO ME

SO WHAT WOULD YOU DO AND WHY

If it was me... knowing all that I have been through with my parents... I would still bring them into my home to live and hire someone... if possible... to sit and help them throughout the day.

Thise homes don't care for our loved ones like they should.

Today I begin to understand what love must be, if it exists.... When we are parted, we each feel the lack of the other half of ourselves. We are incomplete like a book in two volumes of which the first has been lost. That is what I imagine love to be: incompleteness in absence.

all i have is my moms... so she's staying with me... i agree with SimplyUneque. i would hire someone to come in and take care of her, but she's coming with me, unless its something medical where it would be best for her health to be in a home....
