I feel you Jus and when I do want his attention when he's playing his game, I do wait. I'm flexible like that. I just don't feel that I need to wait all the time. Like when I'm cleaning the house, all I ask for him to do is take the garbage out when I'm done. Yet and still 3 days later the bag is still sitting by the back door. Or if I want him to watch something with me, he'll do something like ask my sister to do his hair or he'll be playing with the cat. And yes I agree all of this sounds petty but when it's an on going thing it can be bothersome. Especially when any time he request my attention I put everything to the side and give it to him. I'm just asking for the same in return. Not all the time, just sometimes.
