I remember being young and thinking I was head over heels at one point, only to find out as I grew older that what I thought was love could not meet the bare criteria. I take notice of one of my aunts, she grew to become a bitter woman concerning love based on her own experiences and I always feared that when I got older I'd grow to be as bitter as she was based on the breakups that I'd had. What is your take on loves perspective? Does it grow or diminish with age and experience?

I believe our perspectives on love, as in other things, grows with us as we grow older. The more chances you take in it the more you learn, just like life.

I've realised I can not have it all my own way, and love is a growing thing like age. My view point on realtionships, dating, marriage and divorce has changed since 16yrs to 28 3/4yrs. I'm still hope full about real love and keepingthe faith in ever after.

I know I have taking chances ...they don't all work out but I will say this ; I try to learn from each person/relationship -what went right { and I demand that again } and what went wrong { if it's my crap _ I try to resolve it or not go that route again _ if it was my partners I stay away from that trigger / behaviour } but I will NEVER stop putting myself out there ...G*d KNOWS what I need . I just ned to be ready !
