I like Kelis, Her first album is still my joint. This one is really good, it's worth a listen. Raphael Saadiq did about three tracks on it and I give it four stars.

I was wondering what was up with her second album they dropped it like a bad habit and if nas wasn't with her would the hype be the same?

Milkshake? C'mon now...  Yeah, Aussie, I think yo' man ( ;D ) and her being more "sexy" contributed to the hype. She was nominated for a grammy for "Milkshake". What? Did the Neptunes produce the rest of the tracks? |

Did the Neptunes produce the rest of the tracks? I think they did. The cd is very light music but differrent. I cannot understand the nomination for "Milkshake" it's cute at best. I'm sure the Farrell/Nas hype along with the lack of clothing helped.  |

I think that has a great deal to do with it, I don't like milkshake but the rest of the album is pretty good. I think if people listen to it they may like it. I really like Glow and millionare. I loved her first album, I don't think people gave that a fair chance.

I always like Kelis' music...
The deal with her second CD... It was actually released for like a week or so...then they (i think the record company) pulled it off the shelves so "technically" it wasn't released... Alot of the songs from the second CD "Wanderland" are actually on this new CD....
So I guess this is "technically" her second CD
