what ya now hearing on this album is really refreshing it really sounds like george duke is reborn
and woow does he sound good
man..his keyboard and the songs woow
my favorite songs (if i had to choose) from this album
in no particular order
- track 4 lets rol
wenn this song begins woow it reminds me of his album BRAZILIAN LOVE AFFAIR oow and the bassintro and his fender rhodes woow
listen to the bass solo on acoustic bass
lawd have mercee
-track ten mile jog
ooh man play this loud
i love this listen to the guitar intro
that slapping bass of christian mcbride
woow
this is a track that reminds me of the old 70s george duke releases woow
lets say this if i play this track in my cart i got a lot a lot of speeding tickets
yep
its that good
wooow
track 2 chillin is woow like the song titles explain just a song to chill
a laidback groove
nice bassgroove
track 3 did surprise me with surprise turn after the nice intro
listen to it
and close ya eyes
track aint it funky
wha to say
woow the song start with a sorta oldskool horn intro but then
the guitar starts woow
its reminds me of this oldskool guitargroove wess montgomery /george benson in a new package
then the horn section takes it over
woow
just listen and feel it
ok i just stop there are 10 tracks on this album
( on some releases there are 11 tracks i think those are the european/japanese releases )
this album is a must have
