I just copped Zap Mama's lastest cd "Ancestry In Progress" and I must say it is crazy! ;D
I have never heard Zap Mama until now. I just know that Badu had worked with her/them on her last album and I wanted to give it a listen (plus, it didn't hurt to see on the outside sticker that Badu, Common, ?estlove and Bahamadia were featured on the joint! It's different, but it's off the chain! I love it. ;D Give different music a try ya'll! ;D

Album= The Zutons, rare British rock moment and I'm loving it.Plus they have that beautifull Liverpool accent ( think Beatles people ).
Single= Destiny child, I don't care what you say. The vid makes me want to start doing splits again, and the tune gets me ready in the morning.

i like it. much of the songs on it are the same from him live albums.. only real difference is that he has beats now, and not just his piano. i like it though. he's genuine. definitely an artist to buy.

I'm open to listen/buy anything. I'm gonna check out Masta Ace, The Zutons and Luciano online. Realist, I guess I'll cop Legend's cd then. I didn't know he had a live album out. Has anyone heard or copped Mos Def's "New Danger"? I hear it's a mix of alternative and hip hop.

So it's a GOT TO COP TO GIVE AWAY! Thanks, that really helps. LOL
No, I'm goin' to cop it cause he's one of the tightest lyricists living and I got to hear it.
Anyone cop Kweli's "The Beautiful Struggle," you're missin' out if you don't have it.

Key to the game part 3....Lowkey. UK hiphop artist, totaly awesome. Think spritual political heart like Common & Dead prez, checky sense of humour of Luda and a young hustle mentality of cassidy.
Libra...Toni Braxton-Lewis. only because I'm a hugh fan, not really feeling the whole album so far, just the obvious single tracks (breath/Take that ring off/).

FLOETRY.....FLO'OLOGY
Yes I played this back from the gym, classic album. Fav tunes so far are Waiting in Vain, Supastar & My Apology. And don't they look great...... but as always upset that no lyrics in the album cover.

Oh, I guess I'll cop it. People mag gave it a 2 out of 4 and VIBE gave it a 3 out of 4. I wasn't going to cop it but I guess I'll give it a go.
