Anthony David - 3 Chords and the Truth okay there has been some worth of mouth about this young artist quote "3 Chords & the Truth" is the debut album of Atlanta singer/songwriter Anthony David, who has been hailed by critics as the Bill Withers of a new generation. Tony creates soulful urban tunes inspired by the human experience. His immaculate blend of blues, R&B, and hip-hop creates a distinct sound that breaks open a new dimension of soul music. Pleasures, desires, and struggles of life are passionately conveyed through his husky yet intimate vocal delivery, descriptive lyrics, heartfelt melodies, and out-the-box acoustic rhythms. check this link/site to listen to samples of his debut album www.juno.co.uk/products/155203-01.htmhe did wrote PART OF MY LIFE on INDIA ARIE i did always love that song and now he done it his way wonderfull CHECK OUT THIS ALBUM

quote
"A PREVIEW OF . . . Anthony David's upcoming CD, 3 Chords & the Truth. Or Tony Harrington's. Or whatever name the Atlanta singer-songwriter is calling himself. Here's a suggestion: How about impressive. Once a year it seems like one act comes out of the Apache Cafe scene with remarkable promise. Last year it was Van Hunt, who toiled outside the spotlight as a musician-songwriter for local talent Dionne Farris. This year could very well be David's, who's also done his time as a background singer for Atlanta's India Arie. You can hear some Arie in his acoustic guitar-based debut (due in stores next month). But in his steady, gritty croon and lovely, plain-spoken writing there's Bill Withers, and yet another Georgia-groomed artist, David Ryan Harris." --Sonia Murray Atlanta Journal Constitution
"Strapped with an acoustic guitar and a husky throwback voice, this ATL-based crooner impresses on his debut with soulful delivery, original songwriting, and delicate strumming." --Andrew Simon Vibe

For Bilals upcoming Sophmore album......the never ending wait. His album is nice but not fantastic, I just love to see him live,he grabed and worked the crowd during his set. People were buying his album and getting pictures one time ( just like me ).
Anybody from ATL seen him live, what do you think?

Man, the wait is takin' so long. He's been featured on other jazz musicians albums though. I know he was on Boney James' last album and two other jazz musicians, can't remember their names.
