The NFL plans to say no to ESPN’s Playmakers for next season. The NFL is annoyed with ESPN over the new Pro football drama called Playmakers. The NFL believes that the show depicts the worst of Pro Football. NFL reps believe that the show is a largely negative reflection of what happens in Pro Football. Critics believe this show is to the NFL what Platinum was for the hip-hop community. Playmakers features many themes like closet gay football players, abusing husbands, oversexed athletes, drug induced players who use crack at halftime. The NFL’s relationship with ESPN may get further estranged as the NFL plans to launch its own cable network and may no longer need ESPN.

That's deep, look out espn. So playmakers is telling too much truth. But I understand where they are coming from. There are some good things that are done in the NFL. The problem is (as with most shows) when they do these shows they must do both, positive and negative. But the issures they are going over in Playmakers are going on in the NFL therefore it should be talked about.

That ws my show. Dang!
I KNOW the league don't like the show, but the players REALLY don't like it. I think it's more of them than the league.
Oh, and the league NEEDS ESPN. They frontin'.

I think I saw a preview on some channel recently . Maybe it was an ad for the DVD. Either way... I want to see it.
