i got money riding on Hopkins. he's smart in the ring, strong, quick, and can take a hit and give it.
i don't know that De La Hoya can take it. but they said he bought the scorecards.

I'ma go with Hopkins, too. When's the last time De La Hoya even fought? I'm rackin' my brain here... I did see him on that boxing reality show, tho'...

yes yes. precisely. i'm a boxing buck anyways.
that is the very first time De La Hoya has EVER lost in Las Vegas. they said that if Hopkins didn't knock him out, Hopkins would have lost politically.
i haven't seen it yet.
but, to answer your previous questions... he's fought Mosley.. lost, but, should have won... that was politically motivated in Jersey. Then he went up in weight classes and fought... damn he lost that one. my opinion: he can't handle the weight.
And Hopkins? ha, i DEFINITELY didn't see that happening. Hopkins' is one of the very few good fighters these days. He's fast, strong, and very smart in the ring.

...a total of 3 fights in 2004. Which, isn't bad at all.

What's yo' thoughts on Winkie Wright? Or Sugar Shane?
And what about Mike? I heard he still gotta fight until he pay his debts off...

Sugar needs to be taken out of his name. Shane Mosley... speed, that's it. His father/trainer.. garbage... any fighter that will talk back to his corner is not a disciplined fighter. Shane Mosley is also a clumsy fighter... not smart in the right. Not really an offensive fighter either.. he's a perfect example on boxers that ruin boxing.
Winkie Wright... kudos to him. but i haven't really followed up on him like i should to give him a precise assessment, ha.

oh, and regards to my man Tyson.
Now, according to what's in his contract, he has 5 more to do. According to him, his knee is hurt. Now, in regards to persuing the contract, i don't even think that he's even sure about what he's going to do. i feel for him. if he doesn't, he will lose LOTS of money just for breaking the contract plus some... however, in some contracts, injuries that can cause the fighter not to continue will automatically dismiss the contract without any penalties... depends on the fighter's demands and how desperate the person is in getting the fighter in a contract.
