Hey guys, I've got something for you! As you all know I run a store in Richmond for my mother and it's called Up Top Flava 4 You and we sell all types of books by African American Authors. And since I know you all like to read and we have them available in the store and I have the site well I just put all three together. So this serves as a temporary spot until the store has it's own website so when you go back to the main page to buy you are looking for the tab that says "Other Books" I will keep you updated with more info when we get the website but for now to purchase any book you can go here: www.ausetausarproductions.com/page12.htmland that will take you right to where you can buy! Please be patient as I update the site! We have a collection that rivals Black Expressions!

I have a question that might come accross as ignorant, but I really hope nobody takes it like such. Though I get confused for being black all the time, I'm really hispanic. To me I don't care, I think that they are all labels (which I hate).
When you say black authors, do you mean that the person writing is just black, but their content is various. Or that not only is the author black, but each story centers around a black character with black issues. I'm just really curious.
I guess what I'm getting at is, will I find a Star Trek / Star Wars type of sci-fi there, but it was written by a black author (and there have been two or three that have).

The only stupid question is the question that is not asked. Actually this is a great question. I guess I must apologize because i'm so used to saying black authors and thinking people know what I'm talking about. Actually the books that I have in the store are written by african american authors and most of them are based on african american events. I haven't seen a scifi like event by an african american author yet. Now I'm trying to publish my sister joyluv's joint. It's in the literary lounge check it out. it's called joy's sci fi event.
