I've never been but my friend just went about 2 weeks ago and she had a ball.... she said she plans on going back every year.... she stayed at the hotel that is shaped like a pyramid (i forgot the name of it)... it was the hotel on fear factor when they had to slide down the side of the hotel.....

The Luxor And that's the hotel I stayed at when me and my boy went out there. It's so cool. The rooms in the pyramid are all on a angle, and the elevator ain't a elevator - it's called a "inclinator". It actually goes up diagonally! Don't be tore up when you on it...LOL... That Sphinx is crazy. The lobby is one of the biggest lobbies I have ever seen in a hotel. And everything is Egyptian. It does really feel like you are in Eygpt - except that it's 2026 B.C. I would love to go back.

Man, I just realized every time I've been to Las Vegas we never stayed at the nice hotels. My Dad was always so dang cheap. We always stayed at the La Quinta and we just walked through the lobbies of the other hotels.
Dang Craig, I want to check out the Luxor now...never been in any of the rooms. Is it expensive?

We got a room in the Pyramid for $59 online. If you go off-peak, it's might be even cheaper than that. They built a newer hotel right across from it - the rooms are better, but it ain't in a pyramid. If you get a strip view, you're set!
