OK... Just to let y'all know(whoever doesnt know) I work in a call center for the state police. So, yesterday one of my co- workers tell us that he is going back to school, so he will be doing split shifts. (there are only 5 of us on this shift) Another cat is already doing split shifts. My supervisor is talking about taking a furlough. So that leaves 2 people to work on our shift. State police doent even want less than 3 people on an overtime(which is the weekend) So, can anybody tell me how this shit is gonna work? What if I have an emergency I have to tend to? Their rule is...you cant leave...Fuck thaT. i'm gonna leave if something pops off. It is not my fault that they are catering into these people and letting them schedule work around their private lives. If thats the case...I wanna do the same.
Anyway.....the system crashes....all day....Police stations are going crazy....phone calls out da ass...Rule has it...if shit is down...you take work through your lunch(for OT)...ok cool...BUT...these peeps (except for me and Brian..who take lunch at 9:30) go to lunch...Leave us with the phone calls. Then when they come back around 9:45-10 act like they got an attitude because me and B are taking our lunch from 10-11.. We leave at 11 so we just told them we were out for the night. Why is that they can take a lunch...but we cant....? Amazing isnt it?

I feel you I truly do, today I am really keeping to myself because of STUPIDITY on my bosses behalf. It never cease to amaze me how the people who work the most and do what thy are suppose to do never get acknowledged? then the people who don't do shyt slep and slide and do what they want? I am over worked under paid and just not feelin this job today!!! I try lord knows I try to keep to myself when I feel this way but it's starting to be a regular thing!! I have to start seaching because this is starting to mess w/my whole vibe!!! It's sad to say that every day I think of Jill scott's song "don't wanna get up" I am starting to feel this EVERY DAY!!!! I am thankful for having a job, but it comes to a point where you feel like a lot of hard work is in vain. So chal I feel you, what makes your situation so crazy is your other co-workers don't even take the time to realize what pressure is put on you when they dip? makes you go HMMMMMMMMMM?   |

They dont care...They all about themselves...It's alright though. I'm sick of coming in here too. I ready to bounce. They stressin me out... Just like you said...Over worked and under paid.

Why is it that when you work for one of us they give you the hardest time? not only gives you a hard time but has a problem w/women wants to be top dog alllll the time? I just vannot understand it?

I don't and can't understand it either Msmoore. You would think that we would try and help each other out, but instead we dog each other out and in some cases we're treated harder than others of a different racial background.  Crabs in a barrell...it truly is a shame. |

Because the entire mentallity of the world is fucked up. Mostly everyone will shank the next for a place at the top. Not enough people willing to help each other out sadly enough some are still using sex to get ahead and it is still working sick and sad. Ms. Moore it's gonna be all good girl!

Yeah gurlhe is a real idiot, uncle tom and I think he has real issues w/strong black women! I mean to tell truth he has either fired or they walked out because they could not deal w/his mentality on things but guess what he got the right BYACH!!!! because him and I had a very long talk about two weeks ago where it almost escalted into me being fired!! but I used reverse psychology on his azz because really and truly had he decided to let me go yall would have seen Ms.moore on cnn filing a grievance against this airlline! It's just a damn shame that we have to fight our own people and our own are the ones trying to break you down I think he is having some problems at home because number one his wife makes waaaaaaaaaaay more money than him and number two I don't think he really have like that at home so he has to try to throw what little power he thinks he has around!!!! |
