I am only against the death penalty because our judicial system in so f*ck*d up! Innocent people get convicted everyday, because judges and jurors forget that the law says you must prove BEYOND a reasonable doubt. Then there are dirty cops who will do anything to close a case including (but not limited to) framing innocent people!

If a person is indeed found guilty of murder, I support the death penalty. Not that it will bring their victim back, but in my eyes, the murderer will know how it feels to have his/her life taken away by someone else's hands.

I am sort of split on this because the Bible says... "An eye for an eye". But it also says, "Thou shalt not kill."

that person deserves to live...my lil bro..almost got the death penalty..so this issue hits right at home with me...
if you kill sure you're wrong...but who gives the state the power to execute...and the blood of that killers hands is now on whoever kills during a death penalty..so you will have to answer to that too...
killing them is easy...let them live and suffer everyday...thats hell...killing them is doing them a favor...

I agree with you tamar and tori for one if they are trully found guilty beyond a reasonable doubt then letting them live and suffer is more punishment. while at the same time they never take the time to trully proove beyond a reasonable doubt and infact they frame innocent people or people that don't do what they say when they say it.
I saw last night astory about this caucasion lady lawyer who got away with killing one man, attempted murder with another and coaxing and orchestrating another murder. There is even a man on death row because of her. And she has yet to spend a day in jail and it is so crazy because she acting like she don't know nothing and you can tell the lie in her face!

I absolutely do not support the death penalty... I feel as though if you pull that switch or help in the process in any way your a murderer... That's just my opinion.
Plus the Criminal Injustice system is so backwards that they shouldn't be killing anybody. They need to work on getting their sh*t in order...

The criminal system is modern slavery...its supposed to rehabilitate you so that you don't become a repeat offender... ...its made to keep families broke apart...say a guy kills someone..and he gets life...should his son have to suffer a life without guidance from his father just becuase of his dad? ...it just don't make sense...say you do a crime and get 10 years..you should get out on a clean slate with no felonies or no record...because you did your time and paid society its debt...its slavery I tell you...I just wish my fellow brothers would wake up...

I agree with you slim.... The CJ system is nothing but slavery... Half of the bill collectors and telemarkets are actually prison inmates.... There's no rehabilitation in prisons. They were not designed for that purpose. Its f*cked up cuz that creates angry and hostile individuals who not only never received help but may have gotten worse, and most of these individuals re-enter society. So how are they suppose to function effectively in society when they are used to nothing but a hostile environment. I'm a CJ major and the more I learn and study, the more I HATE this system
