Wassup fam, onlookers, guest, and supporters
I just wanted to let you all know that my current project Roots Grow Wild is going very well. I only have about two pages left to complete before the book is done. I wrote for about six hours straight yesterday and this morning I edited the chapters that were already done for two hours. Well I've been editing that but the experience is truly something. Especially because this is more than my words its my life before now. Things I'm proud about things I'm sad about. It's all me so excuse it if it's not perfect. Because I'm not perfect. Anyhow hopefully it will be out by June or July. I'm pushing for no later than July.
I found the perfect person to do my cover and that's not going to be too expensive. When I have a copy of it I'll post it here for you but it wont be for a while. At least till next month. I have to finish writing the book first so I know the spine width.
Today I'm going to find out the status on a workshop I'm working on for George Wythe High School. If I can't do it there I will be doing it somewhere else. But the students will be able to be involved.
I am also working on doing a headline show for Virginia Union University so pray all work out with that.
I have a speaking engagement at this talent show there later this month. Thing are going good and fast for me. I'm hoping after the release of Roots to publish other authors, or at least take submissions. However I'm taking each step one at a time so have patience. AAP will be a household name one day but even then we will be true to ourselves.
