After going through so much drama with the pushed back release of Roots, I've decided to keep the focus, I've added over fourty poems to Attitudes of a woman as well as start up my open mic touring. It's been a long time coming and so far I have lit up the stages locally at Tropical Soul on tuesday night verses, the Juke Joint and tonight I'll be at Thirsty Thursdays and Sunday at Lyric ave and then wednsday Nancy Raygun. I am also trying to make trips out to Philly, while I will be out to Michigan next week, gotta tell you about that in a sec. and big up to the floetry fam who will be having a cookout on the 30th I will be attending, any of the fam here want to go get at me.
Other good things going on, let me mention Michigan first since i've already dropped a semi dime. In Michigan I will be recording the poem How True is it, for the group RLJ Lugniz who are a very talented hip hop and r&b group out of Michigan whom will be dropping soon, big ups to them, (Rueben, Latrel, Jay and Lugniz, who are currently have deals on the table with So So Def and Def Jam, ya'll bout to blow) as soon as their site is up I'll be linking them so that the fam can get a sneak peak on their talent. Anyhow that trip is next week so hopefully when I come back I'll have something to distribute to the fam.
And finally I have made a deal with Virginia Union University to do a headlining for the upcoming school year. This will be an hour long presentation with the choir backing me up so I'll give you more info on that as I get it.
So that's the aap update, one monkey don't stop no show, we are moving and I'm taking the fam along with me! Belive that!
